While a few of these college stars can earn a return to their college next year, the others are playing in their last games of the college career. To get some of those college athletes who are playing in their final NCAA games, then it'll be the end online. However, there'll be a few players that are lucky enough to continue their basketball career and potentially be drafted into the NBA. That not only means that the NBA might have some familiar NCAA stars from this present year, but that also means that those gamers that get drafted will be making their way to NBA 2K22 once it releases later on this year. All these are NCAA players that you should keep an eye on during March Madness as you're likely to see in NBA 2K22.
Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State) (PG)
Oklahoma State would be an average team if it weren't for Cade Cunningham. I still think they would be a March Madness player, but they wouldn't be a projected number 4 seed at the tournament and definitely not ranked No. 12 in the country. Cade Cunningham has produced an average of 19.7 PPG in 22 games played. Another key stats to notice about Cunningham is he shoots 45.5percent from the field, 42.5percent from 3pt, and shoots 85.4% from the stripe. With stats like he's been producing this year, Cunningham deserved every ounce of the awards.
Projections have Cade Cunningham being drafted to the NBA next season as the #1 overall selection. I don't see Oklahoma State really having any chance of winning this years March Madness tournament, but Cade Cunningham will do everything in his power to bring the Cowboys as much as you can. Since there's absolutely no current NCAA basketball game to playwith, you will need to wait until NBA 2K22 is released prior to getting your hands on Cunningham, but nonetheless he is practically locked up for part of the game when it's released later on this season.
Jalen Suggs (Gonzaga) (PG)
In 2021, when you see the words Gonzaga you automatically think of the March Madness champion contenders. If the 26-0 undefeated record wasn't sufficient to get your attention, how about a stat the last 23 matches that Gonzaga has played all won by double digits. Jalen Suggs was a huge contributor to Gonzaga's magic season up to now. Jalen Suggs for his 2020-2021 campaign stands at an average of 14.3 PPG in 24 matches played this year. His most impressive nation by far is his 51.2% shooting percentage from the field. Every time Suggs has obtained a shot this year it mathematically has had a better prospect of moving in then maybe not.
The biggest concern from his stats this season is the center of the pack 73.9 FT%. As we all know, free throws are among the most essential aspects of a baseball game, particularly in the NCAA. Clutch free throws at the end of the game is what determines those massive upsets every March. However, Jalen Suggs stats shouldn't take away from his entire game. This is a guy with fantastic vision that can make scoring opportunities on the drop of a button whilst also being a great general shooter. Suggs showcases a great two way sport and is a significant reason why he'd be perfect for the NBA. Expect to see Jalen Suggs on an NBA team in NBA 2K22.
In case you haven't gotten the opportunity to watch any University of Southern California games rather than late then you certainly haven't managed to witness a complete tower of a human being. Evan Mobley stands at 7 feet tall. He is a massively tall dude with tons of talent and is unbelievably difficult to guard awarded his tall stature. To go along with those factors, he averages 58.2% from the field and averages 8.2 rebounds per game. Rebounding play a huge roster basketball and it's very hard to prevent Mobley from getting rebounds as a result of his size. Not simply on the defensive rebounds, but the offensive rebounds allows USC to get more opportunities for second chance points, which helps your likelihood of winning matches.
It isn't an issue of if Evan Mobley will be drafted, it's merely a matter of how early will be drafted. In any event, we could expect to watch Evan Mobley on a team in NBA 2K22 after this season.
NBA 2K22 is gearing up to bring the long standing basketball title into a new era this year on next gen consoles, but they can not stop delivering on PC. Right now, details about NBA 2K22 are rare, but we should know more in the next few weeks once the match is officially declared.
In all probability, we'll get our first look at NBA 2K22 when the reveal trailer falls. It's quite possible we view the reveal trailer by the time E3 2021 wraps up. It appears likely 2K Sports will have a presence in the event this season. E3 will start on Saturday, June 12, and proceed until Tuesday, June 15, so a reveal could come out around that time. In any event, we should find a sneak peak at NBA 2K22 in the next month.
